About the Role 

OX2 Finland is looking for a Financial Manager to support the financial management of Finnish wind farm assets, both for our customers and OX2’s IPP portfolio. 

You will be part of the Nordic accounting team and responsible for the financial administration of several wind farm companies. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in Finland and Sweden, as well as external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and tax advisors. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage accounting and financial administration for wind farm companies 

  • Maintain bookkeeping in accordance with Finnish Accounting Standards (FAS) 

  • Prepare financial reports for customers, lenders, and authorities 

  • Coordinate budgeting and financial forecasting for assigned entities 

  • Manage year-end closing and preparation of annual financial statements 

  • Handle VAT reporting and regulatory filings 

  • Perform corporate income tax calculations and tax return preparation 

  • Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, legal advisors, and auditors 

  • Manage corporate governance documentation (e.g., board minutes and statutory documentation) 

  • Maintain ongoing communication with asset owners and project stakeholders

You are a self-driven and detail-oriented finance professional who values accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. You are comfortable working in a dynamic, changing and international environment, supporting renewable energy assets with long-term financial structures. 

Strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and a willingness to learn are key to succeeding in this role. 

 

Qualifications 

 

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration 

  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting and corporate taxation 

  • Solid knowledge of Finnish Accounting Standards (FAS) 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Proficiency in both Finnish and English, written and spoken 

  • Advanced skills in Excel and Microsoft Office 

Meriting 

  • Experience from accounting firms 

  • Experience within the renewable energy, wind power, real estate, or energy sector 

  • Experience with ERP system implementation (IFS) 

  • Knowledge of IFRS reporting 

  • KLT certification 

Please note that some travel within Finland and to Sweden may be required in the role.
