About the role

We are looking for a Portfolio Manager to take a key role in bringing our Nordic renewable and storage assets to market and maximising their value on physical power markets.

In this role, you will support developing the market optimisation framework for our wind, solar and battery assets Finland and Sweden. We will work with external BRP and BSP service providers, and your mission is to create and manage a governance and optimisation framework that ensures these partners deliver best-in-class commercial performance for our portfolio.

You will report to Director, Route to Market. RtM team will act as a central interface between TCM, Asset Management and local country teams in a matrix organisation, supporting and coordinating the route-to-market setup and ongoing optimisation across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting the implementation of the market optimisation framework for Nordic wind, solar and battery assets.
  • Define trading strategies, bidding logic, risk limits and performance targets for external BRP/BSP service providers.
  • Actively manage and steer service providers to ensure optimal commercial performance and compliance with agreed strategies and parameters.
  • Analyse market performance and continuously improve trading strategies and optimisation approaches.
  • Support route-to-market setups for new assets in close cooperation with local and central teams.
  • Focusing primarily in Nordic markets but potentially other markets too depending on our business needs and candidates’ personal interests.

Your profile

  • Prior experience in power market optimisation and physical trading, preferably with renewable and/or battery assets.
  • Strong understanding of Nordic power markets, balancing markets and the role of BRP/BSP service providers.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with performance monitoring, forecasting and market data.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organisation with multiple stakeholders across functions.
  • Proactive, structured and commercially minded, with the ability to drive topics independently.
  • Fluency in English
