It is a chance to join a growing Project Delivery team that operate at the centre of OX2’s projects execution, value creation and steering, where strategy becomes reality, and where your leadership directly impacts the energy transition. In 2026 alone, our project delivery team leads more than 30 large-scale investments across Europe in onshore wind, solar PV, BESS and hybrid solutions pre and post FID, totalling ~3GW of capacity and >3€bn of total investment.

We currently present opportunity at numerous levels within our expanding team for ambitious and talented individuals, including country portfolio directors, project directors, and project managers to be based in Sweden, Italy, and Poland.

Your Responsibility and Impact

In line with the different levels of responsibility, you will have the opportunity to lead a portfolio or project(s) of large-scale renewable energy projects – taking end-to-end responsibility from late-stage development through execution and up until start of operations, spanning up to 5 years of project lifecycle.

This means ample opportunity to manage complexity, drive and improve project value and commercial business cases, oversee and steer the delivery of a vast range of work packages essential to a successful project investment (e.g development, financing, EPC, offtake, commercial contracts, legal), identify and manage opportunity and risk, and build and manage multiple internal and external key stakeholder relationships.

You will work at a scale and a level of central responsibility within the business that is unique, providing leadership to project teams of 30-50 people, and being accountable for average equity investments of EUR hundreds of millions+. You will ultimately operate at the intersection of commercial, technical, financial, and strategic execution and decision-making, with the mandate and trust to shape outcomes.

Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to build and or develop within high-performing, diverse teams, strengthen collaboration across functions and geographies, and drive continuous improvement across a growing portfolio.

Your Profile in the Business

Our Project Delivery team sits at the heart of OX2’s daily operations, positioned at a senior level of responsibility, accountability and exposure. You will work directly with the regional Vice Presidents for Project Delivery who are responsible and accountable to our Chief Commercial Officer, who sits on the OX2 Executive Management Team. As a very visible leader from day one, you will interact daily with country executive management teams, heads of key functions and portfolio/project leads. You will frequently present your deliverables and projects to the Executive Management Team.

Who You Are

You are a seasoned project leader who excels at combining hands-on delivery excellence with strategic and critical thinking in a highly commercial, complex and fast-moving projects investment and execution environment.

You bring:

• A fitting level of professional experience in renewables or the energy transition industry, or in some cases relevant experience from adjacent industries.
• Demonstrable experience at a similar level of responsibility and accountability.
• A strong track record in project and portfolio delivery in country.
• A strong track record of delivering results in complex environments.
• Confidence in navigating senior stakeholders and competing priorities.
• A structured, analytical mindset with strong commercial understanding.
• The ability to deliver through ambiguity and make sound decisions under pressure.
