To support our continued growth, we are now looking for a Transaction Associate to join our Continental Europe Transactions team. This is a great opportunity to work at the heart of renewable energy deal-making—supporting complex project transactions and interacting with leading investors, developers, and advisors across the market.
About the role
As Transaction Associate at OX2, you will be an integral part of OX2’s Transactions team from day one. You will support and manage key workstreams in the execution of renewable energy transactions, working closely with internal teams, external advisors, and investors.
The role combines financial analysis and transaction execution, with exposure to senior stakeholders and an international investor base. During active transactions, the pace is high, and the work demanding—like M&A processes—requiring strong structure, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
You will report to the Head of Transactions, Continental Europe and collaborate closely with teams across development, engineering, procurement, finance, and legal.
Key responsibilities

Manage internal and external transaction workstreams during project acquisitions and sales processes

Coordinate project management activities across internal teams and external stakeholders

Gather information and prepare Information Memorandums and transaction materials

Build and maintain financial models and valuation analyses

Manage external advisors, including M&A advisors and legal counsel

Coordinate and drive due diligence processes

Support deal origination together with senior transaction team members

Assist in negotiations and structuring of transactions

Maintain close interaction with project developers, investors, suppliers, and other stakeholders

You enjoy solving complex problems, managing multiple stakeholders, and contributing to successful transactions. You are confident and professional in your interactions with colleagues and partners, while maintaining a collaborative and humble approach.
Qualifications

BSc or MSc in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, preferably with a specialization in finance.

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in transaction-related work

Experience from M&A processes, transaction services, or due diligence (financial or commercial)

Likely background from investment banking, corporate finance, M&A boutiques, Big Four transaction services, industrial M&A, or private equity

Strong analytical and numerical skills with a structured way of working

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Curiosity, initiative, and a genuine interest in deal-making and renewable energy projects

Ability to work both independently and in a team

Fluent in English, Polish is beneficial but not required. Additional languages are considered a merit.

Experience from the renewable energy industry is beneficial but not required.
