Transaction Manager

At OX2, we accelerate the transition to renewable energy. Our projects span development, construction, and asset management of large-scale renewable energy assets across Europe.

To support our continued growth, we are now looking for a Transaction Manager to join our Continental Europe Transactions team.

This is a key role at the heart of renewable energy deal-making—leading the execution of complex project transactions and working closely with international investors, developers, and advisors across the market.

About the role

As Transaction Manager at OX2, you will play a central role in originating, structuring, and executing renewable energy transactions across Continental Europe.

You will take ownership of key transaction workstreams and in many cases act as project manager for transaction processes, coordinating internal teams and external advisors through all phases of a deal.

The role combines commercial leadership, financial analysis, and transaction execution in a dynamic environment with exposure to senior stakeholders and a global investor base. Like M&A processes, transaction execution can be fast-paced and demanding, requiring strong structure, analytical capability, and the ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams.

You will report to the Head of Transactions, Continental Europe and collaborate closely with teams across development, engineering, procurement, finance, and legal.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage transaction processes for project acquisitions and divestments
  • Act as transaction project manager, coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle
  • Prepare and develop Information Memorandums and transaction documentation
  • Develop and review financial models, valuations, and commercial analyses
  • Manage external advisors, including M&A advisors, financial advisors, and legal counsel
  • Plan, coordinate, and drive due diligence processes
  • Contribute to deal origination activities together with senior team members
  • Participate in and support commercial negotiations and transaction structuring
  • Build and maintain relationships with investors, project developers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment between development, engineering, finance, and legal teams during transaction execution

Who you are

You are a commercially minded professional with solid experience in renewable energy transactions and a strong interest in infrastructure deal-making.

You are structured, analytical, and comfortable managing complex processes with multiple stakeholders. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are motivated by delivering successful transactions.

You combine strong financial and analytical capabilities with excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trust and credibility with internal teams, advisors, and investors.

Qualifications

  • BSc or MSc in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, preferably with a specialization in finance
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in transaction-related roles
  • Proven experience from M&A, project finance, transaction services, or infrastructure transactions
  • Experience from the renewable energy sector is required
  • Background from investment banking, corporate finance, M&A boutiques, Big Four transaction services, industrial M&A, private equity, or renewable energy developers
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Highly analytical, structured, and solution-oriented
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English; Polish is beneficial but not required
  • Additional languages are considered a merit

Why OX2?

The role offers exposure to complex renewable energy infrastructure transactions, close interaction with international investors and senior decision-makers, and the opportunity to shape projects that accelerate the energy transition.

You will work in a highly collaborative environment and play a key role in delivering renewable energy projects across Europe in a company on an exciting growth journey.
