As we continue our journey from renewable energy developer to a leading hybrid IPP, we are now looking to hire an In-house Legal Counsel located in Warsaw, to join our growing legal team.  This is an opportunity to work at the heart of the renewable energy industry and play a key role in the energy transition. 

 

Inhouse Legal Counsel OX2 

As an In-house Legal Counsel, you will be a trusted advisor to the business, providing practical legal support throughout the lifecycle of renewable energy projects. 

Tasks include but are not limited to:  

 

Regulatory & Legal Advisory 

  • Advise OX2's renewable energy business in Poland on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters. 

  • Interpret and apply Polish energy legislation and regulatory requirements. 

  • Monitor legislative developments and assess business impact. 

  • Support compliance initiatives and contribute to strengthening internal regulatory monitoring processes. 

  • Provide clear, pragmatic and commercially relevant legal guidance. 

  • Project Development & Operations 

  • Support project teams through development, construction and operational phases. 

  • Advise on legal aspects of project implementation and ongoing operations. 

  • Support the management of OX2's growing Independent Power Producer (IPP) portfolio. 

  • Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks in partnership with business stakeholders. 

Commercial Contracting 

  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements and project documentation. 

  • Support contractual matters across development, construction and operational activities. 

  • Develop and maintain legal templates and internal guidance materials. 

  • Work with external counsel when specialist expertise is required. 

Business Partnership 

  • Build strong relationships with colleagues across multiple functions and jurisdictions. 

  • Act as a trusted legal partner enabling informed and commercially sound decision-making. 

  • Help drive efficient and practical solutions in a dynamic business environment. 

 

Who we are looking for 

The right person enjoys combining legal expertise with commercial thinking, values collaboration, and wants to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced international organization. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Qualified Polish legal counsel (radca prawny). 

  • 3-5 years of post-university professional experience. 

  • Experience advising on renewable energy, infrastructure, project development, construction, or regulatory matters. 

  • Solid understanding of Polish energy law, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements. 

  • Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements. 

  • Excellent command of English, including legal English, both written and spoken. 

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams. 

  • Commercially minded and pragmatic, with a genuine interest in understanding the business objectives underlying legal decisions.
